Switzerland

My first trip to Switzerland was in 2018. For such a small country, it is really quite diverse. Zurich was my first stop and it’s a very easy city to walk. It’s compact compared to most. It is a culturally robust city as you might expect with sidewalk restaurants, museums and historic architecture everywhere you look. It’s also very clean, and yes, very organized. The Swiss take organization very seriously.

If nature interests you more, Switzerland excels in this area as well. The mountains, the fields, the cows will remind you of your childhood stories of this region. Mount Pilatus is a short trip from Lucerne and I highly recommend it. The views are breathtaking and the charming ride up in a gondola and ride down on a small red train was such fun. It wasn’t so bad for picture taking either.
